Join us on the viewing of the documentary CELIA which captures the legacy of NZ social advocate, world-class storyteller and international author Celia Lashlie.

CELIA was the biggest box office success at the 2018 NZ International film festival. In this film, she talks about poverty, domestic violence, prisons, social justice; about sons and about mothers; and about the importance of self care for our wellbeing.

All proceeds will go towards CoLiberate, a Wellington based organisation supporting people‘s mental and emotional health. They are currently raising funds to open a wellbeing ‘gym’ in Wellington to normalise and make it easy for people to regularly work on their mental and emotional health, using a variety of methods including creative expressions.

This doco is the first event of our Create Hope Series, starting from 28 Feb going till Easter. For info on the series see Facebook

We want to live meaningful, hopeful lives.
But hope is hard.
Life often crashes into our hopes.
What do you do with the pieces?
Can we find hope again?
Somehow we see hope spring up through creativity.
As we move towards Easter we are exploring:
How do we cultivate hope in our lives?
How does creativity meet hope?
How does the creativity inspire others?
Will you join us?
